Our surf camp is located in Playa Manzanillo, on the Nicoya peninsula on Costa Rica's Northern Pacific coast. It’s situated in a less known and very laid-back area.
The nearby surf spots with constant conditions all year round and the boardshorts water temperatures of over 26° C complete your perfect stay! Here you’ll find some of the most beautiful, clean and quiet beaches in Costa Rica. Take your time and explore the ‘Pura Vida’ lifestyle. Besides chilling and surfing, this country offers you many other activities such as white-water rafting, quad biking or jungle canopy tours. You can borrow the Kanus from the surf camp and discover the beautiful coast. At the camp site you'll find a Yoga corner with a stunning view over the rainforest and the beach. In Santa Teresa, only 15 minutes away you can enjoy the nightlife with its countless restaurants and bars.
During your stay you will either be accommodated in one of the bungalows (4 bed room) or at the camp house (3 bed room or double bed room) both situated beside Playa Nicoya beach. Included is a big breakfast and delicious dinner every day! A wonderful view of both the sea and the rain forest are guaranteed. The base also offers a fully equipped kitchen (that will provide you with fine cuisine daily), a bathroom and a terrace with a large ‘chill corner’, where you can relax and enjoy your surf vacation even more! The bungalows have space for 4 people, a bathroom and a comfortable chill area each. Bungalows for private use can only be booked if available (surcharge will be CHF 460/ EUR 400 per week for two person, CHF 345 / EUR 300 for 3 person). It's not possible to rent a private bungalow for only one person.
Our home-break is located at Playa Manzanillo. This is the perfect location to explore the last remaining still untouched beaches of Costa Rica. Our camp shuttle takes you to different world-class point, reef and beach breaks with best conditions for beginners and pros. In front of the camp you'll find a spot for advanced surfers. All the other breaks are just a short car drive away, or sporty & motivated surfers can reach them by walking for about 20 minutes.

2. Surfguiding Packages
In one of the bungalows for 4 person or at the camp house (accomodation of your choice), every day large breakfast and dinner, 2x daily surfguiding to different spots, use of all facilities in the surfcamp, WiFi, quads can be rented in Santa Teresato for spot exploring.

Spanish Lessons
In addition to surf courses, you can take Spanish lessons, which will be held at the surf camp and are guided in English. The course is 2 hours a day per week. The course schedule is very flexible and can be arranged directly at the camp. Price upon request, approximately CHF 140 / EUR 120 per person.
Playa Manzanillo is about 6 hours car drive away from San Jose. That's the reason why we offer different options to get to Santa Teresa when ever you arrive in San Jose. Those transfer packages will bring you to the camp.

You can also take the local bus (Rodriguez) departing from San Carlos bus terminal in San Jose. Leave the bus in Cobano and take a Taxi to the camp.
The fastest way to the camp is taking a flight to Tambor (EUR 70 with Fly Sansa or Nature Air). There you have to take a Taxi for about EUR 40 Flight and taxi have to be organized by yourself.
