One of New Zealand's best waves, just a few minutes on foot to the beach and a young surfer family managing the camp - that's what is awaiting you in Raglan. It is located near the capital Auckland on New Zealand's beautiful westcoast. Here we find the best known waves of this country, the two superlong and perfect leftpoints of Raglan. The camp is located high above the Tasmanian Sea, but the beach and the different points can be reached on foot within 15 minutes. Phil and his family provide you with a clean and comfortable place and a very positve vibe. The surf coaches are licensed and love their job. They focus on fun, safety and individual progress. Raglan is THE surf Mecca of New Zealand.
Raglan town is small and friendly and offers a variety of eating and drinking spots as well cool shops, doctors etc. Raglas is New Zealand’s Mecca Surf Destination, place of the 2003 Oxbow Longboard World Championship.Combine your surftrip with some snowboard downhills!
Accommodation
We offer you accommodation in a very originial and upgraded train waggon with own balcony. Ideal for travelling surfers. Up to 3 surfers per compartment. On location you may in addition book double rooms or even private cottages.
We offer you two different types of packages:
1. Beginner-Package: Includes surf lessons (2-3 per day, 5 x per week), all gear, transfers to the spots, 7 nights accommodation in train carriage compartments or a tipi.
