SPAIN "liquid surf" Langre is a small coastal village in the northeast of Spain. The overwhelming landscape is a mixture from green New Zealand to hilly Switzerland. Langre is the optimal surf spot for all levels, since there are many different bays with quite different breaks. You are surrounded by a ‘laidback’ country atmosphere and at the same time you have the opportunity to experience culture in the metropolitan area of “Santander” for shopping and its unique night life. Surf coach Boris shows you, how beautiful surfer life can be in Spain. Accommodation Accommodation Classic: At the country hotel in bedrooms for 2, 3 or 4 people with own bath and WC. Catering is available for you, full board recommendable! (breakfast, lunch package and the well-deserved 3 course dinner). The accommodation offers you besides your room with bath a basketball court, a Spanish Boule track, chill corner with TV and Video. The country hotel got its own bar. Accommodation Liquid 4****: The alternative to the classic camp location that we can offer is a wonderful 4**** hotel, it is situated about 2 km from our base in Langre. It is a hotel that puts its emphasis on style. A 300 m path through the pine forest separates you from the 7 km beach of Somo/Loredo, where you find excellent surf conditions, the path from there ends directly at the spot La Cuerva. Surfing The following course categories are offered: Beginner Course: The 20 hour weekly course is held by trained surf instructors and contains gear, theory units, video analysis as well as the beach transfer. Training is usually held at the Playa de Langre, perfect instruction beach. At least 3-4 hours of practice per day, structured in useful steps and completed by indispensable theory units that teach all necessary information on waves, weather, tides, currents, the right equipment, behaviour in the water etc. During the optional extension week of the course the gear is at your free disposal and the crew assist you with additional tips and tricks. Advanced/Intermediate-Advanced Course: The 20 hour development and/or advanced course follows directly the beginner course. Prerequisite is the take-off in an unbroken wave and the approach to such a wave. Just like the beginner course the course includes the material, the theory units, video analysis as well as beach transfer. A specific coaching leads to advanced techniques like bottom turn, cutback and the right timing for manoeuvres – with advanced course a lot of importance is attached to support in the water. This is completed by intense video coaching. The gear is also at your disposal when there are no course hours.
